INFANTS
In our nursery, your child
will experience a peaceful, loving atmosphere
-- just like home. A Child's Haven
nursery is furnished with full size cribs,
rocking chairs, and nurturing caregivers.
Our rooms are equipped with everything needed
to provide the loving care your baby needs.
At A Child's Haven we provide
a loving environment with a balanced schedule
that meets the needs of your infant. The
nursery is equipped with a kitchen in each
room for preparing your baby's food and
bottles. All furnishings and toys are
kept clean and sanitized for your baby's use.
We strive to keep a clean, germ-free
environment.
We provide individualized care
to ensure both your baby's happiness and
well-being. Your baby will receive
personal attention to enhance his or her
learning. Holding, cuddling, singing,
and playing will develop motor skills, sensory
skills, language skills, and social skills.
Infants are constantly absorbing and learning
through their environment. Our staff is
equipped with all the latest materials on how
to safely stimulate your infant.
You will feel the warmth when
you enter and observe the loving care that
your baby receives.

* All Infants are fed/napped on their
individual schedule. Diapers are changed
every two hour or less if soiled.

TODDLERS
Our toddlers are very active and curious
about their world. It is our job to help
your toddler learn about himself or herself
and how he or she fits into the world.
The caring staff in you toddler's room will
create an exciting, fun, loving environment.
We know that toddlers are striving for
independence and self esteem.
Experiencing new activities and successfully
completing tasks are very important to
children.
Toddlers learn through play and a hands-on
approach. A Child's Haven provides an
environment for your child to choose new
learning activities in a familar and
comfortable setting. Exploration of
materials, ample space with a variety of
learning activities provides an element of
success.
Your toddler will be exposed to valuable
experiences that will help him or her become
independent. Children explore their
environment which helps develop eye-hand
coordination, fine and gross motor development
and problem solving.
Your Child will still have plenty of time
for hugging, sitting in laps and cuddling
throughout the day. The energy and
curiosity your toddler displays will make you
want to be a toddler again.

PRESCHOOL
Our preschool program is designed for
children ages 3, 4 and 5 years and prepares
him or her for kindergarten. The program
focuses on developing your child's natural
curiosity for learning. A preschooler is
transforming from being reliant into an
independent and active learner. The day
is balanced between structured teacher
activities and child's play. Our
educational program will challenge and reward
your child all in one.
The staff, at A Child's Haven, is trained
to provide the appropriate environment to
educate your child in a fun and loving
setting. Our goal is to instill
confidence in your child's decision-making, to
build self-esteem and to promote academic
proficiency in order to help him or her
succeed.
Your child's classroom is designed to
enhance all the skills required to ready him
or her for kindergarten. The learning
centers provide developmentally appropriate
activities the reinforce learning through
exploration, problem solving, asking questions
and repetition to help your preschooler master
skills.
We cannot wait to see what your preschooler

TWO YEAR OLDS
This is a wonderful age that allows little
time for rest. This is definitely a time
for exploring and learning. The
environment we create for this age group is
fast paced to keep up with your busy child.
We have designed this program to
accommodate the traits and needs of a child
who is growing toward independence. Two
year olds are entering the world of change,
Physical, social, emotional, and intellectual
growth is rapid and ever changing, so our
teachers are provided with appropriate
resources and training to meet the needs of
this stage of development.
As your two your old grows, so does his or
her inquisitiveness about the world.
Always keeping in mind the healthy curiosity
of this age group, we create a safe, loving
and nurturing environment.
A major milestone for a child is
successfully accomplishing toileting.
Our understanding staff will help your child
feel comfortable and give him or her an
excitement about learning to use the toilet.
With the parents' help we can all be
successful.
